Oddly, this is the one thing that Group Unwise does right. If I right-click on a message and choose reply, then I have a choice of reply to sender and reply to all. I use reply to all and then manually delete the individual user's mail address. Until it gets reply to list that will have to do.

Right, evolution has a reply to list, and that's what i've been using. For some reason though Thunderbird lacks that feature...
